Igrane is a popular destination on Makarska riviera, its neighbours are Drašnice on the western and Živogošće on the eastern side. The village was originally settled on a cape, on a small hill above the sea. The houses of the old village have been, more or less, preserved - so, a real Dalmatian ambience awaits all those who pay a visit to the old part.

Being a resort destination, Igrane's main attraction is its beach. The main beach in Igrane Bay is a gravel one, has a stretch of about 300-400 meters and has small ports on both of its ends. Besides the main beach the cape below the hotel has a similarly gravel beach, too. Then, west of the village the long coast towards Drašnice is mixed with rocky and gravel sections - a perfect place if you prefer intimacy to the crowded nature of the main beach. The coast east of Igrane, all along to the Porat part of Živogošće has more rocky sections, still, one can find small gravel beaches here, too.

Talking about accommodation options in Igrane Hotel Punta with its highest capacity in the village comes first. Then, just like in any town or village on Croatia's Adriatic, a wide selection of private apartments and rooms for short term rentals is available in Igrane, too. As the majority of the houses in Igrane were built on the hillside, one should consider that getting to and from the beach requires some efforts - due to the altitudes. Some of the apartments are situated on the riva - their prices reflect their favorable locations.

Igrane has its own grocery, so, there is no need to leave the village for the daily shopping routine - for bigger needs one would drive 10 minutes to get to nearby Makarska. Restaurants, bars and snack bars are located on the riva, just above the main beach.
